Moon phase today

About moon phases

The moon's phase depends on the angle between the sun, Earth and moon, so it is the same for everyone at the same moment. A full cycle from new moon to new moon takes about 29.5 days. Phase times are calculated to within a couple of minutes and shown in your own time zone.

From the southern hemisphere the moon looks flipped: a waxing moon is lit on the left. For sunrise, sunset and moon details for a place, open any city, for example London or Karachi.
